This release includes replacements for all ship classes, custom emblems, and factions - allowing you to play as the UNSC and Covenant from the Halo universe. Today we're releasing version 0.1 of Sins of the Prophets: Stellaris. To counter this, leave some ships behind if you can or get alot of bombers from anchor stations and hangers.Hello everyone! I am the lead developer for a Halo mod called Sins of the Prophets for the 4X space combat RTS game Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion.Īfter Stellaris released we experienced an outpouring of requests from our fanbase to let them play with our ships in the Stellaris sandbox.

The only weakenness I've seen is that the covennant's long range unit can take out ODPs with getting in their range. Since the covennant just throw their ships at planets, it is possible for a well strutured defence grid to wipe out the entire fleet. You'll also need an anchor station with coordinated resistance to ensure that the enemy doesnt just sneak a ship to an undefended part of the planet and bombard it. You would also be best served by placing logistical strutures in front of your Mac defenses, to allow them more time to fire and soak up damage. The only down side is that this fleet composition takes a longer time to build, but once you have it you'll have the upper hand in almost any engagement.Īs for defenses, I agree that the best stragety is to place them in a cluster facing the place that enemy ships will most likely be coming from. And halycons are good support ships that deal out damage but are also heavly armered. The orion is essential for taking new planets quickly. Artemises provide extra firepower and range for taking out enemy defences.

The punics are also great durable ships with great firepower that not only carry fighters/bombers into battle but also buff surrounding ships. Almost every ship can take a serious beating, with the infinity being the primary damage sponge that the enemy always focuses their fire on. I come out of many engagements against harder A.I.s without losing a single ship. It certainly isn't a typical composition but it works extremely well agaisnt most any covenent force. My fleet composition is always 1 infinity, 12 punics, 4 artemis cruisers, 2 epochs, 1 orion, 1 pheonix refit, 4-6 refit ships, and about 60 halycons. My strategy focuses on a heavy/durable fleet and well fortifed worlds.
